Lewisham Main Grants – Review and consultation

The consultation that opens on 30 July will seek views about the proposed new priorities for the grants programme as well as the criteria and application process. It is also an opportunity to give your views on the 25% cut to the grants budget.

Lewisham
Council are proposing to make a reduction of £1.5millon to the £5.9 million
grants budget, due to the unprecedented scale of the reduction to the council
budget.  This equates to 25% of the budget.

The consultation that opens on 30 July will seek views about the
proposed new priorities for the grants programme as well as the criteria and
application process. If the proposed reduction in the Grants budget is agreed,
Lewisham also seeks views on the approach that should be made to implement the
reduction.
