LEAN 17th AGM 2023 – how to stand for election or bring a motion

Our AGM is part of the conference, Future Proofing: how can we sustain arts and cultural participation for children and young people? on 9 February 2023. As a LEAN member you may wish to find out how to become a LEAN Trustee and/or raise an issue by bringing a motion to the AGM.

Posted: 13/01/2023

The AGM is a yearly gathering of LEAN’s members and stakeholders and provides an opportunity to review the work of the organisation in the previous year, at which the organisation’s finances, current progress on the strategy and plans for the future are presented to members for discussion and examination.

At the AGM you will be able to elect the organisation’s Trustees for the next year but you can also let us know in advance if you would like to stand for election to the LEAN Board. If you are interested in becoming a LEAN Board member please get in touch with Jane Hendrie by 18 January 2023. Jane will send you information about becoming a LEAN Trustee and will be available for a phone or Zoom call to answer any questions and explain next steps.

So that members are able to raise issues of concern, LEAN has a process by which members can bring motions and resolutions to the AGM for discussion by the wider network. Your draft motion should be no more than 100 words. Please complete the form by 18 January 2023.

Find out more about the event and register to attend here.
