Have your say on flood risks in Lewisham

Residents, businesses and community organisations are being asked for their opinions on, and knowledge of, flood risk within Lewisham borough.

Posted: 10/03/2022

As a Lead Local Flood Authority,
Lewisham Council is responsible for co-ordinating relevant
organisations like utilities and landowners in the borough to help
manage local flood risk. In conjunction with three other local Councils –
Bexley, Bromley and Greenwich – they are currently developing our
combined strategy for managing flood risk across this part of London.

To
help inform this work, they would like to hear from people who live, work
or otherwise spend time in Lewisham borough, who might have personal
experiences of flooding, or views about the Council’s priorities on this
matter, or what advice that should be available to householders and
businesses.

The short survey should take between 10-12 minutes to
complete.

All
feedback will be reviewed and where possible incorporated in the
strategy. A first draft will be publicly available for comment during
the summer. The link below will take you a page on Lewisham Council’s website with more information and access to the online questionnaire.
