Have your say in Lewisham Council’s main grants programme consultation

Lewisham Council are seeking input about the proposed approach to, and priorities for,  Lewisham Council’s main grants programme.  Share your views on the proposed grants criteria and a number of questions relating to how we might allocate funding across the programme, before 25 October 2018.

Lewisham’s main grant programme was last fully let in 2015 following a full public consultation on the revised framework which was agreed by Mayor and Cabinet (Contracts) on 12 November 2014.

We now need to re-let the programme and as such we are undertaking this consultation to seek the views of residents and the sector regarding priorities and our proposed approach with a view to this informing our approach once overall budgets are decided.

The consultation runs until Thursday 25th October so hopefully you will be able to provide your views to help us shape our future approach. Give us your views by completing our online survey.

In addition to
the online survey there will be two consultation meetings where you will be
able to ask questions of Cllr Jonathan Slater, Cabinet Member for the Community
Sector, or myself regarding the consultation or other related issues. These
meeting will take place at the following times:

  • Monday
    17th September, 6-8pm
  • Wednesday
    17th October, 10am – 12 noon

Places at these
consultation meeting (which will take place in Catford – location to be
confirmed) must be booked in advance by emailing Community.Enterprise@lewisham.gov.uk.
Due to potential demand places are limited to one person per organisation at
each meeting. If extra spaces are available all those signed up will be
contacted one week before the meetings to make this known.

"Just to say a huge thanks ... I am looking forward to progressing with this project thanks to your support, advice and guidance"
