Discounted Arts Award Silver and Gold Advisor Training –
Friday 22nd April 9.30 to 4.30:
This accredited training will enable you to deliver Arts
Award at the Bronze and Silver levels and support young people between the ages
of 11 and 25 to complete the award.
- Understand the ethos of Arts Award and explore case
studies and examples of appropriate activities and ideas - Find out how Arts Award may work for you in your
setting. - Become familiar with the assessment criteria and framework
for each level and collect your Bronze, Silver and Gold adviser
toolkit. - Learn how to be the primary Arts Award assessor for young
people.

Cultural
and Creative Curriculum Showcase:
Monday
20th June at Greenwich Dance
Preparations
are underway for the Greenwich and Lewisham Cultural and Creative 2nd
annual Showcase event in partnership with the World Heritage Site and LEAN.
Attendees will be able to hear about current developments in the Arts in
Education and a wide variety of cross curricular cultural and creative
projects. Local organisations will be on hand to help plan for your
school next year and find out how you can access new opportunities.

Discounted Arts Award Moderation in the Summer Term:
Trinity
have offered us discounted moderation for Arts Award Explore or Bronze and
Silver in the Summer term. To qualify for the 15% discount we will need to let
them know approximately how many young people we will be putting forward.
To
apply for inclusion in the joint discounted moderation please let Geraldine Turton know how
many young people you are working with, at what level of Arts Award and when
you will be ready for moderation by the 22nd March at Geraldine.turton@royalgreenwich.gov.uk
You will receive confirmation by the 1st April.
