Designated Person for Safeguarding One-Day Course: 7th May 2013, 10.00am 4.30pm
Designated Person means the manager with responsibility for safeguarding policy and practice in your organisation. If are already in this role, or are considering taking it on, then this course is for you. You should arrange for a Trustee to come with you: they will learn about the responsibilities of Trustees to support staff with safeguarding.
Private Fostering Arrangements Workshop: June 2013, 11.30am 1.30pm
A private fostering arrangement takes place when a child or young person lives with someone who is not their parent, legal guardian or close relative for 28 days or more. Join us at this session for guidance on safeguarding them and working with their carers. Includes lunch.
