Help the hub to develop a deeper understanding of current provision and workforce development needs in Lewisham.
Posted: 12/12/2012
The National Plan for Music puts a great emphasis on the responsibility of hubs to address the workforce development needs of their areas. Lewisham Music Hub believes that workforce development should be a key strategic objective and, in reaction to the plans recommendations, a Hub CPD working group for the area was formed in 2012.
The following survey has been developed by the hub partners so that as a collective, we can develop a deeper understanding of current provision and workforce development needs in Lewisham. The findings from this survey will be collated in late January and a formal report will be written and disseminated by late February 2013.
So we can gain a detailed picture of development needs we are asking anyone involved in music education in Lewisham to complete the survey. You may fall into one (or more) of the following categories:
- A provider of musical opportunities / or education (e.g. a school, Hub leader, arts/community music organisation)
- A specific music education training/CPD provider
- An INDIVIDUAL music leader / school music teacher / music practitioner / tutor / community musician / individual provider of training or Arts Manager/Admin
This is an opportunity for you to directly consult with your music hub and to tell us what your workforce development needs are. We value your input and will design opportunities that directly reflect the findings in this survey.
The survey should take no longer than 7/8 minutes to complete. The deadline is the 11th of January 2013. Please click on the link below or above to start.
