The Cultural Education Challenge is a new programme led by A New Direction to drive a step-change in cultural education for children and young people in London.

The Cultural Education Challenge is an ambitious £900,000 three year programme designed to bring about a step-change in Cultural Education and young peoples cultural engagement in London.It is led by A New Direction, with funding from Arts Council England through Bridge funding.
The programme has funded seven lead partner organisations to work with over 100 organisations ranging from housing associations, social enterprises, early years settings, local authorities, cultural organisations and schools.
Partners will work together to lever 100% match funding into the programme, bringing the total investment over the first two year phase to £1.4 million.
