Cockpit Arts invites applications to join our Board of Trustees from individuals interested in being part of our award-winning social enterprise supporting craft, design and creative enterprise. Apply by 21 October.

Home to over 140 independent creative businesses, Cockpit is Londons leading studios for contemporary craft and the UKs only business incubator for craft and design. Over 30 years, we have built an international reputation for quality, integrity and creative excellence. With a new CEO and strategy in development, this is an exciting time to join the Board to shape Cockpits future.
The Board wishes to appoint new Trustees with these areas of expertise:
Finance and Accountancy
Fundraising, including Trust and Foundations and High Net Worth Individuals
PR, marketing and communications
Local connections in Deptford/Lewisham and/or in Holborn/Camden
We are also open to deepening and extending Board expertise in other areas relevant to Cockpits activities and therefore welcome applications from all interested candidates.
Cockpit currently has ten serving Trustees, three of whom, including the Chair and Deputy Chair, will complete their third and final term in March 2022.
We will appoint a new Chair in the coming year, either from within or outside theexisting Board, and would also like to hear from candidates who may be interested in this role.
