The Audit Commission has written to all Local Strategic Partnerships advising them that in the light of recent Government proposals, all work on Comprehensive Area Assessments (CAA) is to be brought to a conclusion with immediate effect.
A limited programme of Audit Commission risk-based assessments currently under way will continue.
