The Call Out: We call for all stakeholders working with children and young people to work together to ensure that all children and young people (CYP) in Lewisham have arts, creativity and culture as part of their lives, enhancing their confidence, wellbeing, aspirations, connection and agency.

Context:
To improve Arts & Culture opportunities for young people, schools, youth and children’s services, and cultural organisations have joined together in a forum: the Lewisham Cultural Education Partnership (LCEP). This enables us to achieve more joined up thinking and actions and supports Lewisham’s Cultural Strategy – We are Lewisham 2023-2028 (HERE)
LCEP members have worked together to create this Arts & Culture pledge to Lewisham’s children and young people. We are asking all those involved in providing cultural opportunities to sign up to this as a statement of commitment and as a check list for good practice.
