Hoxton Hall is a Victorian grade II* listed music hall built in 1863. The venue also houses adjoining music rooms and recording space, meeting and rehearsal rooms, dance studio, art studios and creative industry workspace; Hoxton Works. They are a space for artist development, a vital incubation space to make work in a supportive environment; creating bridges for participants to transition into emerging artists and producing unique work inspired by the space and place. Hoxton Hall brings communities together through entertainment.

Hoxton Hall are recruiting for a Youth Music Co-ordinator. The person appointed will be an excellent technical and entrepreneurial facilitator to oversee our music studio, music room and music production computer suite, to develop the already strong cohort of young people, with a particular focus on the older group (11-19) in technical skills and music production. This role is key in the Youth Arts Participation department, delivering individual and group production sessions, outreach, as well as daily administrative tasks. You will be engaging with existing groups and individuals, while actively creating outreach activity, developing new partnerships and further opportunities for young people. Alongside supporting the development of young participants skills to work in the music industry, Hoxton Hall look to encourage this STEM activity as a transferable skill, broadening participants’ options, experience and interests into formal training, creative industry and other employment. This role will be an opportunity to create a legacy of employability skills and creative access to groups underrepresented in the creative industries.
