Tender is an arts and education
charity committed to preventing domestic abuse and sexual violence amongst
young people by promoting healthy relationships. Founded in 2003, Tender has developed a range of award winning arts
education projects which empower young people and the adults who work with them
to actively prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence and promote gender
equality in their schools, youth centres and communities.
Tender is looking for a Youth Engagement Manager maternity
cover to successfully design, deliver and evaluate
art based education projects with young people in a variety of youth settings.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience of managing and
co-ordinating creative education projects, including managing a team of
freelance workshop facilitators and a youth engagement co-ordinator. This
role has responsibilities for delivering projects with marginalised young
people, therefore it would be beneficial if applicants had demonstrable
experience with a particular marginalised group of young people such as looked
after children, LGBTQ young people, young carers, SEN young people etc.
The position is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
