Young Londoners - seize the chance to celebrate where you live with Into Film's new competition! If you live in Lewisham, this exciting filmmaking competition, in partnership with the Mayor's London Borough of Culture award, invites you to pick up your phone or camera and make a film showing us why Lewisham is best.

Call out to Lewisham’s young people, children, schools/ colleges and youth clubs: we’re challenging you to make a short film showcasing what it is that you love about Lewisham. What makes you happy to live here and why is Lewisham the best borough in London?
Films must be no longer than 3 minutes in length and follow the theme of ‘my local culture’ and you can apply as an as individual or as part if a group as long as parental or carer consent has been granted for under 17s.
There are two age categories: 5 to 12 and 13 to 19. Each winning filmmaker (or group of filmmakers) will win £1500 of state-of-the-art filmmaking equipment and receive professional training for you or your school/college or club.
Entries will be judged by a special panel including staff from Into Film, the Mayor’s office and other young people, and will be assessed on idea, sound, story and look, as well as the technical ability on display.
