Are you passionate about theatre and community? SPID Theatre Co. is looking for a Workshop Assistant to join the Estate Endz Project that runs from August to October 2021.

SPID Theatre is an award winning youth arts charity that nurtures and
develops a community of creative and empowered young artists from
social housing estates in West London. Estate Endz is the SPID Theatre
Heritage project for young people from 13 to 25 years old. From August
until October of 2021 it will be exploring themes around employability
and social housing in the community of North Kensington.

The project will culminate in a promenade theatre around North
Kensington. Therefore, they are looking for a Workshop Assistant to
support the sessions throughout the Programme.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend and ensure the smooth running of all workshops

  • Ensure the workshop plan is followed and keep timing for activities

  • Take responsibility for preparing equipment for workshops as well as the set-up the workshop

  • Support guest professionals as they lead workshops in their area of expertise

  • Share responsibility for running warm up and closing games at each session

  • Attend project evaluation sessions 

  • Participate in staff feedback sessions at the end of each workshop

Salary: £10.85 per hour
