Youth Music are a national charity investing in music-making projects for children and young people experiencing challenging circumstances.
We believe everyone should have the chance to make music. Our projects help young people develop musically, of course, but they have personal and social outcomes too.
The Programme Coordinator will ensure the smooth running of Youth Musics grants programme and provide effective office administration.

You will coordinate the funding decision-making panel meetings, grantholder meetings and events; administer the grant payment process; and be the first port of call for daily queries from prospective applicants and current grantholders.
Person Specification
Essential
- Previous experience in an administrative or coordination role.
- Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills.
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to process and interpret financial information with a high degree of accuracy.
- Good communication skills.
- A hands on approach with the ability to coordinate others to work proactively towards upcoming deadlines.
- IT skills, with experience of using databases and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Desirable
- Experience of working within a cultural, charitable or funding organisation.
- An interest in music of any genre.
