Then & Now is opening in October- Could you run a creative workshop in response to the exhibition?

After a successful Crowdfunding campaign, Then & Now will be open from 13-28 October in Catford. Could you run a community workshop in response to this landmark exhibition?

Open Until:

In 1977 artist and photographer John Goto took an iconic series of photos known as Lovers Rock featuring young people in the London Borough of Lewisham.

41 years on a new series of photos is being created celebrating young people who live, work or are studying in Lewisham right now.

A selection of Goto’s photos along with this new series taken by renowned photographer Des Willie will form a landmark exhibition “Then & Now” due to take place in Lewisham this October, with the private view on the 12th October and the exhibition running until 28th. The venue is 2-3 Winslade Way SE6 (retail unit in Catford shopping centre).

This is very much a community celebration and as such we are happy to chat to organisations who would like to use the space/exhibition to run workshops during this period perhaps using the exhibition as inspiration.  There may be room in the schedule at the weekends depending on the workshop/activity, but weekdays more likely. Some evening access may be possible. Naturally there would not be a charge for this. Currently we have a workshop(s) happening in the space every weekend and during the half term week.
