The Mixtape Project are currently looking to build our team of experienced Sound Engineers that have existing Youth Work qualifications for a number of Recording Studio related projects.

This post is ideal for someone looking for extra work to fit around their existing employment, or anyone looking to use their Music Production, Studio Sound Engineering and Song Writing skills to pass onto young aspiring musicians, in order to inspire and improve their own opportunities for employment.
Candidates must have an understanding of Urban Music (Afro-Swing, Drill, Grime, Trap, Hip Hop & Dancehall etc) and the Youth Culture associated with it.
You will be required to act as a mentor and role model as well as to create and produce music in collaboration with Young People who have been socially excluded i.e NEET, Hard to Engage, ex-convicts and those in Care.
Applicants must live in the London Area and be willing to travel a variety of Youth Clubs in and around London (namely West, South West, South East and Central) and be available for work in the evenings after 5pm and be able to start immediately if successful.
