Technology
will feature in almost every future job. This one day only event covers a range
of curriculum topics and is designed to inspire young people about their own
future potential in the workplace. Your students will have the opportunity to
get their hands on some of the latest technology available, including the
latest wearable technology, gesture recognition, experimental digital arts and
animated data.

Meet and speak to professional people who use technology in interesting
ways

Students
will also meet professionals from diverse fields including digital design,
science, entertainment or social innovation. They will show how they use
computing in surprising ways to transform human capabilities and tell how they
have turned their skills and passions into fulfilling careers.

A stunning show where your students learn as they laugh

The
day will include shows from the Festival of the Spoken Nerd who have performed
everywhere from the Hammersmith Apollo with Professor Brian Cox to the
Edinburgh Fringe. Their show is a celebration of computing science with comedy,
songs, live experiments and unashamed geekiness.
