Kensington Palace are looking for Art teachers to take part in a focus group to help shape a new KS5 learning programme based on their fashion collection.

They are developing an exciting new learning programme for KS5 students at
Kensington Palace based on their historic fashion collection and are looking for
Art & Design/Textiles teachers to help them shape it.
Background
The Learning programme will be aimed at KS5 Art and Design, Textiles and
Fashion students and will focus on our fashion collection and its social,
cultural and historical context. The programme will include:
- The
opportunity to learn from fashion curators, conservators and other experts - Real
historic artefacts from our handling collection of clothes and accessories from
the last 300 years - Teacher

Focus group details
We would like to invite you to a focus group at the palace on Saturday
9th December with other Art & Design teachers to discuss our
ideas for the programme and get your feedback.
In return for your time we offer:
- Free
entry to Victoria on TV, part of our adult learning teams Brunchtime
Lectures series. The speakers will be Michael Howells, Production Designer on
the ITV series Victoria and Deirdre Murphy, HRP Senior Curator with
responsibility for our Royal Ceremonial Dress Collection. You can read more

The proposed timings for the day will be:
11am 12.30 Victoria on TV lecture
