Summer School Project Manager

Working at Discover Children's Story Centre, you will work on a project with both primary and secondary schools involving literacy.

The full time Project Manager will require strong partnership working skills to involve primary and secondary schools, the EEF evaluation team and parents in the project. It will reach 250 children who have predicted SATS below Level 4, with 125 children participating in the Summer School and the secondary schools involved receiving a term of targeted literacy activities in Autumn 2013.

The successful candidate will have at least two years relevant experience co-ordinating projects and practical experience of running a summer school. With have an excellent understanding of learning strategies and theories of increasing literacy attainment and excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong track record of working to deadlines and within a specific project timeframe.
