RBG Kew Wakhurst summer programme is themed around "Food security". It is a 3 month programme highlighting the importance of Kew's scientific work in this area and seeks to connect their visitors to nature in a new, innovative way.

RGB Kew and Wakehurst are seeking submissions for artists of all disciplines eg. sound
designers, sculpture artists, food artists etc for their Summer programme
2022.
Encouraging visitors to connect with nature, these innovative, varied
artworks will add a new layer to visitors’ understanding and enjoyment
of the landscape, encouraging them to experience nature with fresh ears
and eyes!
They are looking for artists that want to give a cultural response to
Wakehurst and Kew science, exploring ways of connecting their audience
with nature in new and innovative ways, whilst communicating some of the
core work that Kew science is doing in the areas of food security and
biodiversity.
They are looking to commission 6 – 10 installations of different scales with budgets ranging from 5k – 30k.
