Lewisham Youth Theatre is recruiting a part-time Step Up Coordinator on a maternity cover contract from November 2013 - June 2014.

This demanding position gives the post holder a unique opportunity to be part of a key component of our programme. This service has been developed over the last 2 years and is now a core part of our work. The Step-Up project engages young people who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) or who are otherwise at-risk, in LYTs core youth theatre activity. The post involves:
· supporting young people aged 14-21 through one to one meetings,
· building partnerships with local services for NEET and at-risk youth
· delivering targeted drama sessions and forum theatre projects in the community
· delivering in LYTs core youth theatre activities, working alongside LYTs Outreach & Participation Coordinator
