Over the past seven years Southwark Theatres’ Education Partnership has explored, developed and sustained an innovative programme of drama and theatre education projects with and for young people in Southwark. Its main aim was to achieve a greater synergy and integration between Schools and the STEP Theatre Partners in being alert to and developing drama and theatre projects with young people in and out of school.
STEP developed the festival model into a conference model and held the first and highly successful STEP conference earlier this year.
STEP is now looking to put its new project centred funding strategy into action and is looking for someone to work with the board on a freelance basis to help achieve its new aims and specifically to take responsibility for organising the next conference.
