Spirit of 2012 are particularly intersted in arts projects which develop listening, reflective and expressive communication skills. These may include – but are not limited to – film-making, song-writing, story-telling, poetry and rap, drama and improvisation.
April 2016 marks the 400th anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare. Using this event as the spark of inspiration, we want to fund a project that enables young people to engage with and creatively explore issues, emotions and themes. From Hollywood romcoms to Kate Tempests My Shakespeare spoken word piece to Benedict Cumberbatchs Hamlet Shakespeares power and appeal still resonates across the centuries.
Project target age range is 11 – 25.
Visit the Leading Voices page of our website to download an information pack and expression of interest application form.
The deadline for submitting an expression of interest is 5pm on Wednesday 30th September 2015.
