The Community Arts Fund offers opportunities for local Community Groups and Arts Organisations to deliver a range of Arts and Cultural projects across the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

Funding
for the year April 2015 to March 2016 has now been approved and applications
can be made for between £100 and 10,000.
Grants
are available for professional artists to work with the local community on a
diverse range of participatory arts projects. Organisations previously
funded as a part of the Community Art Fund have used the funding to develop a
range of performance projects and to develop performances in the town squares
and open spaces in the Royal Greenwich.
If you are interested in applying for the Community
Arts Fund come along to one of the the Meet the Funders Afternoon on Wednesday
18th March at the Eltham Centre or Monday 20th April at the Woolwich Centre

The
Community Art Fund – Meet the Funders events will provide an excellent
opportunity for groups and organisations to learn more about the fund and have
their questions answered.
- The
Royal Borough Arts and Culture Office will give a presentation about the
Community Art Fund with examples of previously funded projects.
This will be followed by a Question and Answer Session. - Greenwich
Action for Voluntary Services (GAVS) will give a brief presentation about their
services and will be on hand to answer questions. GAVS provide a range of
capacity building support to local voluntary and community organisations as
well as support to the sector. - The
London Community Foundation will also give a presentation at the event on
Monday 20th April.
