Lewisham is supporting local creativity and imagination by offering funding for cultural events and activities in the borough throughout 2022. We are currently offering project funding of up to £2,000 for projects happening between July and December 2022 to not-for-profit, constituted organisations hosting events in the borough.
Lewisham has pledged to support local creativity and imagination in the borough with a funding scheme that pairs local schools, voluntary and community sector organisations with artists to lead on their own cultural activities as part of the Mayors London Borough of Culture 2022.
Funded by Lewisham Council, Deptford Challenge Trust, Lewisham Homes and Phoenix Community Housing, the initiative will shine a light on Lewishams rich cultural diversity, bringing the borough to life with film screenings, performance, street art, creative writing and greening projects to transform neglected spaces.
Successful applicants for Round One of the Creative Change Fund have been announced.
