the boundaries of training in performance and technical arts, making us one of

introduced the UK’s first ever university BA degree in Lighting Design in the
1990s, and now have the largest suite of technical courses in the UK, recently
augmented by new courses in digital and mixed-reality design for theatre and

The College
is undertaking a programme of strategic development and growth of curriculum and student numbers at all levels. As part of this development they have created new 0.4 Lecturer posts in Performance
Design
, Stage and Events Management, Scenic Arts, and Lighting
Design
.

They are looking for outstanding individuals to join
the existing staff team. As the successful candidate for the post you are
likely to have substantial relevant experience, through your professional work
or through teaching in Further or Higher Education. You will teach specific
classes, projects and groups of students, and contribute to the on-going
management and development of your subject area within the College. You will
use your knowledge and experience to prepare the next generation of
practitioners.

The salary for Lecturers is £35,726 rising to
£41,081 (pro rata, inclusive of Outer London Weighting Allowance) via annual
increments. Rose Bruford offer 35 days’ holiday per annum plus Bank Holidays (pro rata),
an attractive pension scheme and access to our staff development programme.
