Royal Museums Greenwich is holding a conference on Play and Our Changing World this Autumn and they are looking for speakers who have ongoing interest in the topic. There is a fee payable for the speakers..
Open Until: 03/04/2023
Posted: 27/02/2023
The Conference will take place at the National Maritime Museum on 28 September 2023.
The global pandemic, cost of living crisis, wider awakening to racial inequality and injustice has changed the way we play, and how we support children, families and young people within our cultural institutions, schools, nurseries and streets and in our local communities.
This conference aims to bring together people across the cultural and education sector to share ideas and practice.
Royal Museums Greenwich is looking for inspiring case studies, best practice grounded in evaluation, and interactive workshops to re-evaluate what play means in today’s society, the role we can play, and what commitments we need to make to truly take play seriously.
They’re looking for speakers to make 20 minute presentations or 45 minute workshops that focus on the following themes:
· Play and equality
· Taking play seriously, the importance of play
· Building on play
Please complete the form attached and send back to rcroker-ahmed@rmg.co.uk by Monday 3 April 2023. Proposals will be reviewed by a panel and they expect to be in touch with all speakers regarding their proposals by the end of the month.
