The Rio Ferdinand Foundation are offering a free course for the OCNLR Level 1 Equality, Diversity and Inclusion for 14-24 year olds this June and July.

Who is it for?
This qualification is aimed
at helping young people develop their skills as local community leaders and
peer mentors. It will help young people to understand what is meant by equality
and diversity and their role in promoting inclusion.
Learning outcomes:
Valuing
equality and diversity in society
Understand
what is meant by stereotyping and the underlying assumptions and generalisations.
Be
able to recognise positive approaches that promote equality and diversity
Course Requirements:
All
participants must attend, the full 1 day course and complete workbook.
Participants
must be aged 14 24 years old
All
participants should have basic skills abilities in reading and writing.
And be expected to take part in-group discussions, and activities.
Venue:
We require you to provide us access, to a suitable free
delivery space. So we come to you, to deliver the course.
All that we ask is that the learning environment has space
to accommodate written work (desks /chairs), plus space for group work break
out activities for 20 learners.
