Funding is available for UK registered charities working in music, and heritage and crafts.
- No minimum or maximum level of grant is specified.
- The majority of grants are one-off payments or recurrent annual grants over a two to three year period.
Applicants are advised to submit an application well in advance of the following deadlines:
- Annual Music deadlines: 31 January and 31 August.
- Annual Heritage & Crafts deadlines: 31 January and 31 July.
Music Grants
The Trust supports classical music performance and training especially chamber music, composition and music education. Particular interests within music education are music for children and adults with special needs, youth orchestras and projects at secondary and higher levels, including academic research.
Applications are considered under the following headings:
- Composition and contemporary music.
- Bursaries for courses and summer schools for UK based students.
