Producer (Young People’s Programmes)

This is a new role to develop high quality, innovative creative programmes with and for young people and produce work which can take its place at the centre of the Albany’s artistic programme.

Responsible to:               Head of Creative Programmes
Responsible for:             Freelance artists/tutors, part-time Outreach Assistant (Future Jobs), volunteers/young volunteers (AYF), interns and work experience students
Salary:                               £21 – 24K dependent of experience
Hours:                               40 hours per week (including lunch breaks); you will be expected to work flexibly around duties, which may include evenings and weekends
Contract:                          Fixed term until October 2012
Holiday:                            22 days per annum (rising to 25 days after 3 years), plus Bank Holidays

The Albany, in the heart of Deptford, is a vibrant and pioneering performing arts venue, with a diverse programme of theatre, music and spoken word.

This is a new role to develop high quality, innovative creative programmes with and for young people and produce work which can take its place at the centre of the Albany’s artistic programme.

The post is part funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund until October 2012.
