LAMDA are seeking an Outreach and Widening Participation Officer who will develop, manage and run a coordinated access and participation programme in order to widen LAMDAs student recruitment base, embed the Academy in its local community, and disseminate awareness of LAMDAs work, particularly amongst non-traditional and hard-to-reach groups.
This opportunity would suit a confident, enthusiastic and resilient individual who has a commitment to vocational training in the arts. Youll have worked in a similar role and will be comfortable engaging with young people and students from diverse backgrounds. Your outstanding communication skills will enable you to work seamlessly with colleagues and senior management throughout the organisation. Your brief will be challenging however, youll thrive on seeing projects through to completion with minimal supervision. Team working, managing budgets, knowledge of digital media and social networking are features that youll be expected to demonstrate, together with a determined and empathetic attitude.
