Would you like to showcase your work to other schools and arts organisations across Greenwich and Lewisham?
Monday 20th June from 2pm at
Preparations are underway for the Greenwich
and Lewisham Cultural and Creative 2nd annual Showcase event in
partnership with the World Heritage Site and LEAN. Attendees will be able to
hear about current developments in the Arts in Education and a wide variety of
cross curricular cultural and creative projects. Local organisations will
be on hand to help plan for the arts in school next year and find out how you can
access new opportunities.
There are 3 different ways to get involved:
1. Opportunity to PRESENT collaborative projects between schools/cultural organisations
Present your project at the Arts and Cultural Education Showcase Event by contacting Geraldine Turton as soon as possible.
Presentation slots will be 10 minutes each
and should include the perspective of both the school and the cultural partner. Case
studies should include information on: project aims; integrating the work with
the curriculum; challenges; successes and impact. It is useful to consider
practical issues like costs and higher level planning such as targeting the
2. Opportunity to PROMOTE your cultural and creative organisation’s offer

3. Opportunity for schools to WATCH the presentations and MEET cultural and creative organisations
You are very welcome to join us on the day, to watch and meet the presenters and hear about local opportunities across the arts, culture, heritage, and STEM. There will be information on how to get involved with activities, access professional development and free resources. With learning teams from a broad range of creative and cultural organisations in one place this will be the ideal opportunity for teachers to find inspiration for the coming year and make contact with the right partners to help take plans forward.
