The National Theatre currently have an opportunity for a Sound and Video Trainee (paid) to join them on a 12 month contract.

This post will give an opportunity to learn about and understand the role of a sound technician and a video technician within the performing arts industry, whilst getting hands on experience. This is a paid position, with salary being above minimum wage.
This traineeship has been set up with the purpose of providing a gateway to sound and video as a career, the theatre industry and the NT. It is for those with a passion for technology and all things technical. It offers the chance to work within the Sound and Video Departments in all areas of the National Theatre.
You will work in all the areas covered by the Sound and Video Departments, including all three theatres (the Olivier, the Lyttelton and our new temporary space, The Shed) and the sound resources department.
