National Youth Theatre seeking partners for outreach workshops as part of Playing Up

this year the National Youth Theatre's Playing Up group are taking a brand new interactive production to schools in the Newham, Lewisham and Waltham Forest areas. As part of the project we will be running outreach workshops in these areas to ensure more young people get the opportunity to access NYT and in particular access the Playing Up inclusion programme for 2018 -19.

We are looking for arts organisations, charities or 3rd Sector organisations that are either interested in us holding taster session at their venue or have a group of young people that they already work with who would be interested in taking part.

Open Until:

Posted: 03/01/2018

If your arts organisation, charity or
3rd Sector organisation is  interested in holding a taster, these sessions would hopefully run in the Easter break (2nd April – 13th April) for between 2 – 4hours and are particularly aimed at NEET 19-25 year olds.

If you are not based in these areas but are
interested anyway, please just drop us a line and we will see what we can do.
We’re really interested in creating new relationships with organisations,
strengthening existing ones and creating an ongoing  progression route for
the young people involved.

If you are interested in getting involved or know
of any other organisations that would benefit from this outreach, please email sam.hardie@nyt.org.uk
