Lewisham Music are looking to recruit new music tutors to join our team with the passion to inspire young people with a love of learning and making music, and are currently looking for the following specialisms…
Violin tutor
To teach group tuition for 2 hours in a school in Forest Hill starting in the summer term.
Curriculum tutor
To teach curriculum music in a supportive primary school wishing to develop music provision, starting at one day a week in the summer term.
Woodwind tutor
To teach individual saxophone, clarinet, and flute lessons at our Saturday Music Centre in Prendergast Vale School. The teaching hours are 09:15-13:45 every Saturday during term time only. The position starts in the summer term from Saturday 26 April.
Pay
Individual and small-group tuition starts from £33.15 (inc. holiday pay) per hour depending on qualifications.
Whole class and ensemble tuition starts from £34.82 (inc. holiday pay) per hour depending on qualifications.
One-off projects and performances is £37.11 (inc. holiday pay) per hour.
Curriculum teaching is £40.82 (inc. holiday pay) per hour.
Contract type
Permanent – Employed PAYE.
