Can you transform the life chances of 11-18 year olds through music? A unique opportunity for an exceptional teacher to launch a KS3 instrumental approach at Sedgehill School with funding from MiSST:The Andrew Lloyd Webber Programme
We are looking for an outstanding teacher to lead a very exciting new initiative. In September, Sedgehill will be one of six schools pioneering a model for school improvement that has Music education at its heart.
This role will give the successful applicant a chance to develop whole class instrumental teaching and a new elite music specialist school as well as developing our already successful extra-curricular Music provision.
We have secured significant funding for the next three years for this exciting project through MiSST from co-funders The Charles Wolfson Charitable Trust and the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation. This will enable every year 7 student joining Sedgehill to be given a classical instrument and for us to ensure that the values promoted through learning an instrument and performing underpin all the work we do as a school.
Interested candidates should contact the school immediately to discuss the post with the Headteacher. Further details and an application form can be downloaded from our website:
