MakeBelieve Arts have received funding from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation for a three year secondary transition programme based in London and connecting three secondary schools from Lewisham, Kent and Bristol in a series of creative workshops, peer mentoring and blogging / digital media approaches.
A three year, part-time Project Coordinator (three days a week, three years fixed-term contract) will be responsible for managing and delivering this programme, as well as developing the transition work at MakeBelieve Arts from Early Years Transition through to Key Stage 3 and beyond.
You will be an experienced workshop leader and project coordinator, with knowledge of the education sector up to Key Stage 3. Responsibilities include liaising with schools, MakeBelieve Arts Creative Associates, project funders and regional project coordinators in both Bristol and Kent.
You will be able to deliver creative drama workshops that support transition and also have an interest in social media and using blogging and digital technology as a way of connecting schools.
You must be an experienced workshop leader and project coordinator, with a good knowledge of the education sector up to Key Stage 3.
£24,000 – £27,000, pro rata 3 days p/week (dependent on experience).
