Looking for Theatre Workshop Co-Facilitators for Funded Youth Theatre Project

I am looking for theatre workshop co-facilitators with choreography experience (ideally) to help me shape and deliver a funded young people's theatre project in Lewisham in 2020.

The project as a whole will run from mid-February to end of May 2020. DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: 10 FEBRUARY 2020.

There are two roles I am recruiting for, Facilitator 1 and Facilitator 2, so please email a resume and an expression of interest specifying which role you are interested in to nicole@drama-rama.net

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: 10 FEBRUARY 2020

The project as a whole will run across selected schools as a pilot, with young people aged 16-19. The format is 6 weeks of workshops with devised performances to be shown in the final week.

Each co-facilitator must be able to commit for all the dates mentioned for the role they are applying for.

 

Facilitator 1: Commitment: 6 weeks total 17.02.20 – 3.04.20

=18 hours total co-facilitation time

+ 10-15 hours creative planning (paid), starting 14 February 2020.

Average weekly commitment: 5

Total fee: £500

Facilitator 1 must:

-Be able to fully commit to all the dates of the project

-Have experience and passion for youth theatre and helping young people get their ideas across confidently

– Be able to create and teach exciting group choreographies.

-Be a good role model to young people 16-19, able to engage teenagers and command their respect and attention.

-Be fully DBS checked.

 

Facilitator 2:

Commitment: 12 weeks total, between 17 February and 30 May.

We will be working across two secondary schools and putting on public performances.

Total workshops delivery time: 62 hours  

Creative research, development and planning: 25-30 hours

Average weekly commitment: 8 hours

Total fee: £2500


Facilitator 2 must:

-Be able to fully commit to all the dates of the project
-Have experience and passion for youth theatre and helping young people become confident communicators 
– Be able to create and teach exciting group choreographies.
-Be a good role model to young people 16-19, able to engage teenagers and command their respect and attention.
-Be fully DBS checked as standard.
