London Bubble is looking for Freelance Drama Practitioners

Due to the success of our Young Theatre Makers programme we are seeking to grow our pool of drama practitioners and theatre makers who are excellent at working with the often vulnerable young people (aged 11-24) that we engage with.

Deadline for applications: 5pm, 5th December 2019

Open Until:

Posted: 10/03/2022

This will include work in schools, in alternative education provision, with other local youth agencies and in the Youth offending sector.

We are seeking practitioners who are able to:

– Create a safe space for small groups of often vulnerable young people
– Motivate and engage those young people
– Be sensitive to young people experiences
– Challenge when necessary
– Be passionate about young people’s voices being heard

It’s a big ask because we need candidates who also have the creativity to select, curate and rehearse young people’s material for performance. Is this you? All contracts are freelance and can range from weekly groups at the Youth Offending Service to week long projects at London Bubble.

If interested, please e-mail your CV and a short covering letter (no more than 1 side A4) outlining your experience and interest in this role by 5pm December 6th 2019.
