Little Angel Theatre, in association with The Albany and Arts Bridge Charity, has announced a professional development scheme for six black female identifying actors.
They are offering a weeks intensive training in puppetry skills and facilitation. This is a free opportunity and each participant will receive a weeks wage in line with Equity rates.

Little Angel Theatre will cast two actors from the intensive training in the November tour of their new production Reach for the Stars. All other participants are guaranteed work with Little Angel Theatre as a puppeteer or facilitator within one year.
To be eligible you must:
- Be a Black female identifying actor
- Be a confident singer
- Have a strong interest in puppetry and working with children
- Ideally have devising experience
- Be available on Tuesday 22 September, the week commencing 5 October and 12 October 6 December. There is the potential that The Albany will continue to tour the production into December.
All rehearsals and touring will be done in a Covid-19 compliant way. Little Angel Theatre works in partnership with Health and Safety Logistics who advise them on all of their procedures. They have recently delivered a Covid-19 compliant puppet festival and they have experience of touring to hospitals with high-risk patients. They will take this knowledge to inform their practice and deliver safe rehearsals and performances.
