What
is it? You will work with a professional Director and Stage Manager to
create and tour a Forum Theatre show. If you want experience on or off
stage this project may be right for you!
What does it
cost? The project is FREE. You will receive travel and lunch expenses
during rehearsals, you will also be paid a trainee fee per performance.
Who
is it for? To take part, you need to live or learn in Lewisham, be
16-24 years old and not be in full-time education or employment. You
should be passionate about theatre, a supportive team member, punctual,
reliable and hardworking.
What will I get out of it?
Past participants have gone onto further drama/theatre training,
college, university, as well as other voluntary and paid opportunities
here at LYT. At the end of the project you will be offered 1 to 1
mentoring to support you with your further ambitions.
When is it? AUDITIONS will be held on the 31st of January.
Rehearsals will be Wednesdays and Thursdays 10am-5pm from 14th of February to 8th March 2018.
8x performances between 14th to 22nd of March, plus a public performance at the Broadway Theatre in Catford on 28th of March.
Where is it? Sessions take place at the Broadway Theatre rehearsal room in Catford.
