We are looking for people who want to help create the changes that are needed on a local and global scale through Muralism and Community Engagement. Candidates should either be Lewisham residents or Goldsmiths students. This is a free course running from October 2020 to April 2021.
We are looking to enrol young people (aged 18-35) with a variety of interests and backgrounds to form teams with a rich mix of abilities and talents: enthusiasm for the arts, making, collaborating, problem solving and eagerness to learn, are essential.
You will learn a mix of participatory processes and practical knowledge about how to create murals within the streets of Lewisham. Each group will create two collaborative murals, whilst engaging a community group.
The course will start on the 7th October and will end in April 2021 and will run on Wednesdays (6pm to 10pm) and Saturdays (10am to 1pm).
The deadline for applications is 25th July.
