Lewisham Music is a new music education charity working with young people and community groups across the London Borough of Lewisham. It is the former Lewisham Council Music Service & Hub with a reputation for its outstanding work. It is both a delivery organisation and the lead music hub organisation for the borough with funding from Arts Council England.

From late 2018, Lewisham Music will relocate to The Fellowship, Bellingham, a new cultural and community centre under development by Phoenix Housing. This building will provide facilities for a new operational and administrative centre for our work. This is a fantastic opportunity for us to bring people of all ages to engage with our wide-ranging music programmes.
To ensure we maximise these opportunities we are seeking a new Senior Manager to join our expanding Senior Leadership Team. The roles and responsibilities of this post will be shared with another Senior Manager.
You will be an inspirational, dynamic and creative music leader with the skills and knowledge to co-lead our teaching team, to work with schools, and to develop and manage an innovative range of out of school programmes.
You will be a confident advocate and communicator, developing collaborations with our network of over 30 partner and associate organisations alongside building relationships with funders, stakeholders and staff. You will have commitment to inclusivity and diversity together with a proven track record of enriching lives through the power of music in a variety of styles and genres
