Lewisham Council in partnership with Age Exchange Theatre are planning an Intergenerational Festival for 2011. We are looking for schools, colleges and educational partners who might have an event that they would like to include in the week of the festival which will be 4 to 9 April 2011.

Intergenerational events and activities can be anything that demonstrates an opportunity for young people to spend some time with older people exchanging information or working together to create something. This could be anything from a cooking demonstration, small display or exhibition to a piece of drama, dance, music, song or shared storytelling. The finished piece of work should be available to be seen by the public at a time convenient to the school during the last week of Spring term – it will then be included in the festival brochure.
