Aims of role:
- To work with stakeholders to develop an exceptional communications plan for Lewishams London Borough of Culture year 2021.
- To deliver the communications plan through a mix of external PR/media partner, directly managed activity, working with internal colleagues, external cultural partners, GLA and other regional organisations and grass roots organisations.
- To manage the Lewisham Borough of Culture 2021 brand and identify commercial income generation opportunities. To manage allocated budgets.
What were looking for
We are looking for an individual who is a team player and who has:
Substantial experience of creative marketing and communications across multiple artforms, ideally within a festival context.
Experience of developing strategic approaches to communications taking into account political, social and environmental contexts.
Substantial digital marketing and social networking experience
Knowledge of approaches to increasing participation within the cultural sector.
Ability to inspire staff, colleagues and partners to work together with available resources and deliver results.
Credibility that inspires confidence of colleagues, partners and stakeholders.
