Arts festivals play a unique role in
Lewisham, bringing people together, enhancing a sense of place and making
people proud of where they live. Through this fund we want to support
innovative and excellent projects that:
Enhance the identity of the area and
the borough as a vital, creative place to live, work and learn
- Generate and sustain audiences
- Engage and enrich local communities
- Strengthen local area and
neighbourhood partnerships - Provide a platform for locally based
artists and organisations - Deliver economic benefits to the
local community and the borough
