Learning is central to the National Theatres vision for the future, and the NT’s Learning programme is at an exciting stage of development and change.
This new post will play a key event management and operational role in the new Clore Learning Centre spaces, facilitating effective communication between Learning and teams across the NT to ensure that all learning events and projects are scheduled and delivered to the highest quality and in the most effective way. It will support the Learning, technical and production teams on the development of new technical and craft based workshops and courses in the CLC.
Candidates must have a thorough understanding of the technical, craft and production disciplines in theatre, a commitment to learning and the ability to demonstrate and communicate enthusiasm and professionalism in all aspects of the job. Excellent and proven event management and organisational skills are essential as is the ability to multi-task, work on more than one project at a time and to meet tight deadlines. A minimum of 3 years experience in stage, production or event management, or in a technical or craft-based discipline in a theatre context is also desirable.
