Royal Greenwich is recognised as a superb centre of culture; its rich mix of arts and entertainment helping to attract nearly 20 million visitors from all over the UK and worldwide every year. The vibrancy of the sectors is a vital component in helping to underpin the local economy, generating £1.2 billion each year and sustaining more than 16,000 jobs.

We are looking for someone who can lead and advise on policy development across culture, tourism and heritage through consultation, stakeholder engagement, analysing need, implementation and review.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery and procedures of a culture, tourism and heritage service, delivering a comprehensive range of innovative cultural, tourism and heritage programmes, projects and events and assisting in the development of initiatives to deliver the Royal Borough of Greenwich’s priorities.

With a strong background in developing the sector, you will bring highly developed project management skills, a successful track record of fundraising and a good understanding of issues affecting the cultural, tourism and heritage sectors.  Excellent communication will be essential; with partnership building and stakeholder engagement skills to match.
